The Slide Drying unit (model SD52-D) is used to dry microscope slides at the preparation step in histology labs. It holds up to 52 slides, which can be arranged in different orientations — flat (up to 24) or angled (up to 52).
A digital display and microprocessor control hold the temperature from +5°C above ambient up to 90°C with 0.5°C resolution. The 38 × 18 cm working surface and 150 W heating power give even, controlled drying.
