How to choose an incubator
- Temperature range. The Incubator CLEAR and Incubator OPAQ heat from ambient to 60°C. The actively cooled versions — CLEAR C and OPAQ C — work at 10–60°C, including below ambient temperature.
- Chamber type. The transparent methacrylate chamber (CLEAR, CLEAR C) lets you watch samples without opening the door. The OPAQ versions have a metal chamber with a methacrylate front door.
- Capacity. 103 l (CLEAR), 108 l (OPAQ), 122 l (CLEAR C and OPAQ C).
- Mixing during incubation. The Incubator Clear + Rotator has a built-in rotator (heated or cooled version), and the Incubator Opaq & MultiMix Digital a digital 9-position magnetic stirrer.
- Control. The models use the ARA V2 fuzzy-logic controller, ±2% temperature homogeneity, a 0–240 min timer and IP54 protection.
