WEEE — waste electrical and electronic equipment
Under the Polish Act of 11 September 2015 on waste electrical and electronic equipment (Journal of Laws 2015, item 1688) — implementing the EU WEEE Directive — EnviSense, as an importer of electrical and electronic equipment placing it on the EU market, is registered with the Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection (GIOŚ) under number E0016529WBW and, since March 2018, holds a Waste Database (BDO) number issued by the Marshal of the Lubelskie Voivodeship: 000004103.
Separate collection
Electrical and electronic equipment is subject to separate waste collection. The crossed-out wheeled-bin symbol on a device or its packaging means it must not be discarded with ordinary household waste. Users are obliged to hand used equipment to a designated collection point for recycling. You can find your nearest collection point from your local authority, GIOŚ, the Marshal’s Office, or by contacting us.
Waste-management fee (KGO)
The waste-management fee is always included in the product price and is not itemised separately on invoices. The unit KGO rate for electrical and electronic equipment is PLN 0.30/kg net (add 23% VAT for the gross value).
