The OvanTherm C water bath pairs heating with active cooling, holding the set temperature below ambient as well — across the full 0–100°C range. It is built for processes that need controlled cooling: incubation, enzyme assays, sample storage and stability testing.
Cooling comes from a quiet, vibration-free CFC-free compressor — it runs calmly and keeps the lab environment comfortable. The tank is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, and temperature is set with 0.1°C resolution.
The model comes in four capacities — 12, 20, 27 and 45 litres (BC012E–BC045E) — and the largest bath holds up to five test-tube racks. Options include a constant water-level regulator and racks in various sizes. Get in touch and we will match the version to your application and prepare a quote.
